Integral to healthcare services are home care and nursing home care, especially for the elderly.  In addition, due to the higher costs to deliver care at a hospital after interventions, post-acute care is more effectively delivered at home and at nursing homes.  Therefore, it is an obvious extension for the DECS Group to undertake such post-intervention care, which is naturally extended to wellness services.   LifeAssist (working name) is the DECS subsidiary that addresses this market segment.
